Can I help one of my children without this reducing his/her share in the inheritance?

Yes, you can help one of your children during your lifetime, without this reducing his/her share in your succession after your death. To do so, you need to make a donation specifying that the gift is given in advance and additional to his/her legitimate inheritance. Please get advice from your notary who will draw up the deed of the donation.
