How can I protect my spouse or partner ?
Donations between spouses may take place, albeit within certain limits: the donations must be assets owned by the donor, the spouses may not be married under the condition of separation of goods, and the donations may be revoked by the donor at any time. The spouse or partner may also be mentioned in a will as beneficiary of a legacy, or indicated as an heir within the available share.
