Can my children renounce the inheritance in advance ?
Yes, they can. Where a descendant irrevocably renounces the inheritance of his predecessor, the testator and his descendant have to make a notarial record at a notary's office on the renunciation of the non-utilized inheritance. This is to avoid that particular descendant from demanding anything more from the deceased’s property. As such, renunciation of the non-utilized inheritance is irrevocable.
