In case of inheritance of property, the equality between heirs is determined by the Ukrainian Civil Code.

It is also possible to make a will, to give the property in equal shares to each heir or to conclude an agreement as to succession with the heirs, if they have reached majority (18 years).

However, in the case of a will, there will be no absolute certainty that only the children will receive the deceased's property in full, since even in the presence of a will, there may be heirs entitled to a reserved portion of the estate (for example, an incapacitated spouse or the parents of the deceased).
